The past week saw the inaugural Portland Fringe Arts Festival, a part of which was the Koalas of Portland Art and Photography Exhibition.   Inspired by the koala theme, and boosted by a keen interest in the cuddly Aussie icons, Jenn White set to with wood, carving tools, ink, rollers and paper.  The result was a limited edition relief print of ‘Happy Chappy’.

By ‘popular vote’ this cheerful chap was awarded ‘Best Print’ in the exhibition.
